What I make, fit and put right

Most of my work is inside the house: doors, stairs and the storage that makes a home easier to live in. Big job or small, it gets the same care.

  1. 01

    Internal doors

New internal doors supplied and fitted, or your own doors hung. One door, or six through the house.

  2. 02

    Staircases, balustrades and handrails

Staircases clad in oak, new balustrades, and handrails changed on stairs and landings.

  3. 03

    Understairs storage

Cupboards and drawers built into the space under the stairs, so nothing goes to waste.

  4. 04

    Bespoke wardrobes and cupboards

Wardrobes made to measure, including over an awkward stair bulkhead, plus large coat cupboards.

  5. 05

    Loft floors and ladders

Loft floors relaid and new loft ladders fitted, so the loft becomes usable space.

  6. 06

    Airing cupboards

    Airing cupboards renovated and refitted.

  7. 07

    Bath side panels

New bath side panels fitted neatly. No job is too small to do properly.

  8. 08

    Repairs and roof joinery

Garage door frames repaired, and the joinery side of roofing problems sorted.

How a job runs

No surprises, no mess left behind

Having work done at home means having someone in your house. Here's how I keep it straightforward, from the first look at the job to the last sweep of the floor.

  1. 1

    We talk it through

I look at the job with you, explain what I'm planning to do and why, and agree the details before anything starts.

  2. 2

    Prepared before day one

The thinking and preparation happen before I turn up, so the time in your home is spent building.

  3. 3

    On time, and in touch

I arrive when I say I will, and I'll ring you if anything needs your say along the way.

  4. 4

    Clean and tidy, every day

I clear up thoroughly at the end of each day, and the house is left clean when the job is done.

Changed your mind about the design part-way through? That's fine. Late changes can be worked in.

About

Graham Brealey

I'm a self-employed joiner based in Lincoln. When you book Graham Brealey Joinery, you get me: the same person who looks at the job is the one who measures, makes, fits and clears up afterwards.

Some jobs are small, like a new bath side or a garage door frame that needs repairing. Others run right through a house: a set of new internal doors, a staircase clad in oak with new balustrades, new storage under the stairs and a loft that's finally usable. Both get done properly.

I'd rather explain what I'm doing and why than leave you guessing, and I'd rather spend the time preparing before I arrive than make it up as I go.

Graham works professionally, is very capable, and a true craftsman. He carefully discussed the work, explained what he was doing and why. He put in alot of thought and preparation into the job even before he turned up. He cleaned up thoroughly after he had finished each day. For us, he has hung 6 new doors, renovated an airing cupboard and cladded our staircase in oak, with new balustrades. It looks stunning now it is finished. Very happy ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Graham did a range of work for us including reflooring the loft plus a new loft ladder, supplying and fitting four new internal doors, creating new understairs storage ( cupboards and draws) and a large coat cupboard. We were very happy with the communication from beginning to end and the quality of the work and the overall finish.

Graham made a bespoke wardrobe over the stair bulkhead and was happy to make last minute changes to the design. He also changed the handrail on the landing, looks amazing. Graham is professional, efficient, clean and tidy. Will definitely use again.

Graham has been a pleasure to deal with. He is always on time and keeps you informed by telephone when necessary. The work at my house was quite small, just a new bath side to be fitted and a garage doorframe repair, but everything was done perfectly and the house was left clean and tidy after he had finished. I would recommend Graham to anyone.

Top man and a very experienced joiner. Solved my joinery on a roofing problem, always there on time as he says he will be. Good pricing structure, not many professionals like Graham anymore. Top Job thanks Graham
